can also be earning royalties from your books on amazon kid okay in this particular video today though i'm going to be teaching you 15tips on how to actually sell your books so this is for people who either are thinking of going into creating content or low content books on amazon want to know exactly how they will be able to sell their books and also for those who already have books there but I'm not getting enough sales i want to know how you can actually start getting your books to start selling or making more sales, okay so i'm going to quickly share with you these top 15 tips that I use myself to be able to make sales to tune-up hundreds of dollars in the past couple of months from my no content and low content product books okay so the first tip i'm going to share with you is to start simple learn the process commit to taking action i'm going to tell you this for free that
your very first few designs are going to not necessarily be the best sometimes it may even suck i know that mine sucks at the very very first beginning when i say decorating i created over 20 different types of notebooks and journals and stuff before i actually started getting better at it so start simple if you're just starting the journey of low content and no content publishing start with the simple stuff start by creating blank notebooks and blank journals get good at it get good at creating amazing covers get good at the publishing process so you know exactly how it is so that you go from having issues with your coversand having issues with having to go through review processes with amazon to actually getting really good at the process so start simple learn the process and commit to taking action every single day coming to learning how to publish about 100 books or so the more you do the better you're going to get at it so start
simply learn the process come into taking action tip number two learn one tool and master it before moving to others there are so many tools that you could use to create low content and no content products there's canvas which is practically one of the easiest tools and it's the one i've been using i'm not necessarily great at graphics and i do not have a graphics background but i know how to use canvas so i stick to canva there also other types like adobe illustrator there's also InDesign and so many other types of tools you don't have to use all the tools some tools have some stuff that other tools don't have and it doesn't really matter what matters is that you're able to use the tools that you have you can even use simple PowerPoint to be able to create new content and low content products whatever works for you whatever you're most comfortable using stick to that to master it
then if you feel like you want to try out other things then go ahead but before you do other stuff try to master one tool first and learn how to use it to create amazing designs tip number three don't copy other people's works trademarks titles or descriptions this is the fastest way to get your account banned on amazon so don't try to take other people's stuff that you see are doing very well and then just go copy it exactly like that or take trademark words or their copy their titles or their descriptions because they would report you to amazon and amazon really doesn't like copyright infringement so they will ban you straight up so avoid doing those you can get inspiration you can do your research and get you know ideas from what other people are doing but try as much as possible not to copy their works tip number four create books in niches that you understand
i'm sure that you go onamazon and do your research and you seesome niches that seem to be selling wellmaybe like children's books orillustrator illustrative books andactivity books if you're not very goodor you don't understand how that worksleave those things and look forsomething that you're really good atsomething that you really understand andcreate books in those niches if you'regreat at creating amazing notebooks finestick to that and be the best at it ifyou're great at creating guided journalsmeditation or gratitude journals oryou're great at creating children'sbooks or workbooks then stick to thatyou're great at creating log books orplanners or diaries stick to the thingsthat you understand because it's easierfor you to actually build mastery fromthe things
that you already understandthan from going to try out niches thatyou have no idea what's going on theretip number five look for niches with lowcompetition so even when i say createbooks in issues you understand don'tdive into things that you know it seemsto be a lot for example the notebookblank notebook niche there is a wholelot of people doing that because it'seasy to doand it can be overwhelming because thisit can be a lotbut you want to look for niches with lowcompetition so for example there's stilla lot of really really good stories thatcan be told for children's books there'sspecific stories for if you're if you'resomebody with a particular ethnicity youcan create children's books specific toyour ethnicity if you're somebody who'sa teacher who teaches a particular gradeor particular kindergarten class you cancreate content and books for thoseparticular kinds of people if you'resomebody who knows how to do collegebooks for studying and productivity youcan stick to that as well so look forniches with low competition research iskey do your research check on amazonamazon is the best place to do researchthere are other tools that can allow youto do research there's book boat there'sumso many other kinds of other tools outthere that you could be using but in thebest place to still do your yourresearchis still on amazon okaysotip number six these are six importantterms that are very very important whenit comes to bringing the sales these arethings that you must look out for thingsthat you must learn things that that youmust master number one is keywords youmust master your keywords again researchis key number two master categories youwant to be publishing in categories thatpeople are actually going to be lookingfor what you have to offer so masteryour categories number three and this isreally really important the covers areimportant because when it comes to lowcontent products there's almost a wholelot of people doing almost the samething but what will make you stand outis not necessarily even the titles oryour keywords it is your cover anattractive cover is what what is goingto attract people to actually pause andtake a look so when you're creating yourcovers it's important for you to createcovers with titles that are very bold onthe covers or designs that are very boldand catching so that people who arescrolling through their phones will beable to see and get attracted to what itis that you have to offer your title isalso important remember to use yourkeywords in your title the type of thebook you're creating is also importantwhen it comes to bringing in the salesobviously the more content there isinside of the book the higher you canprice it and the higher income pricesthe higher your margins so workbooks forexample workbooks and guides they havehigher contents than regular journalsand planners or even activity books soworkbooks and and guides that arespecific to a niche that have amazingvalue in them can be priced for as muchas 20 i have a particular workbookthat's priced for about twenty threedollars and it's selling very well okayso the type of book is important thenfinally the niche if you are in a lowcompetition niche wherenot too many people are there because itrequires some level of knowledge orexpertise you will do very well in suchniches so these six things are very veryimportant in bringing in the sales yourkeywords categories covers your titlethe type of your book and the nicheyou're publishing intip number seven stand out from yourcompetitionyou don't want to be doing the samething as everybody else because you'regoing to be flooding flooding the marketor flooding the amazon marketplace withjust the same thing that everybody elseis doing and people are not going to buysomething from that's just you know soso ubiquitous and it's everywhere andit's just no um there's nothing uniqueabout it so stand out for yourcompetition and make your designs uniquefind something about you that can helpyou to stand out maybe it's about yourculture maybe it's about your countrymaybe it's about your personalexperience maybe it's about your nichemaybe it's about your work or yourcareer put something infused somethingthat is unique to you into the kind ofcontent that you're creating and intoyour books especially onto your coversas well it would really help you tostand out of your i'll stand out fromyour competition okaytip number eightcreate high quality books get reallyreally good at creating this is whypracticing is important you want tocreate high quality books not just theinteriors but also the cover as well youwant to create books that are of reallygood quality that would attract peopleimmediately so instead of focusing onnumbers which i will talk about inanother tip instead focusing on creatingreally really good quality where theinteriors are so rich that people areexcited to buy them the richer theinterior of your book the higher you canactually price it and the easier it isfor you to actually stand out from yourcompetition so create high quality booksandnumber ninedon't try to game the system or you willget banned do not try to game the amazonsystem the people who try to usetools that allow you to upload multiplebooks at oncei mean i don't know i don't personallydo that and i personally wouldn'trecommend it some people do so but youknow gaming the system and flooding thesystem with just random books that alllook the same maybe just randomdifferent covers but the interiors arethe same is one fast way to get youraccount banned by amazon so do not tryto game the system at all do not try touse setting um back tools and pleaseread the rules and guidelines and theterms and conditions of amazon kdpbefore you publish so that you do nottry to do something that will get youkicked out of the platform okay youdon't want to lose all your hard workjust for a little mistake okaytip number 10quality over quantity if you make dozensof books or hundreds of books i can tellyou this for free only a few of themwill actually do really really well sodo not focus on the numbers insteadfocus on creating really good qualitycontent okay the people who havethousands and thousands of books andthey will tell you that not even up to50 of those books are actually sellingmany of them will not sell that's whyit's important for you to get good atthe process of creating improve thequality of your book instead of justfocusing on publishing 10 or 20 or 100different books in a day focus onpublishing one amazing fantastic bookthat you know that it's going toactually sell so quality over quantitynumber 11 have really good interiorshave good customer service amazonprize prides themselves in deliveringgreat customer service so when customersbegin to complain about low qualitycontent low quality books is one greatway to get your account banned or getyour books removed from the platformokay so good customer service meansgiving the customers people who areactually going to buy your book a reasonto buy and recommend your friends youdon't want to have to deal with negativereviews you don't want to have to dealwith people complaining to the extentthat amazon takes down your books oreven shuts down your account all rightso have really good interiors don't putout trash interiors make sure thatyou're editing and formatting very wellif you're not very good at it you canalways create with canva or create withany of the other platforms and softwarefor creating or you outsource on fiverrand upwork or all of these freelancerplatforms or you can buy templates iactually have a shop called keith andstone umi'm going to link in the descriptionwhere you can actually check out sometemplates that you can get that i haveto have specifically created and it'seasy for you to just take some of theprint ready ones or the templates thatyou can actually design on canva or editon canva with free tutorials on some ofthose templates for you to actually beable to see how you can alter and designand reformat those templates so you canoutsource you can buy templates or youcan create them yourself if you don'thave the time i always suggest youeither outsource or you buy templatesthere's other platforms you don't haveto buy from me there are other platformslike creative market or creative fabricathat you can actually get templates fromyou can't even buy templates from etsyas well all right so use templates ifyou cannot be very if you're not veryvery good at creating great interiorstip number 12keep your pricing within 6.99 and 7.99for no content uh products which whichbasically means like blank notebooks andblank journals and then from 899 andabove for low content books low contentbooks means they have some level ofcontent for exampleguided journals gratitude journals logbooks and others right so you can pricethem a little higher and the morecontent you have in your books the morethe higher you can actually price it soniche books or niche niched low contentbooks and workbooks can go for as muchas twenty dollars like i said before ihave a workbook that goes for abouttwenty three dollars and it's doing verywell because it's very valuable it's afantastic book it's a proper blueprintin a particular nichein business online business that peopleare really excited to buy righttip number 13 grammar is keygrammar is absolutely key use the toolcalled grammarly to check your titles ifyou're somebody who has english as asecond language um and you're not verygood with the english language usegrammarly it's absolutely free you caninstall it as a google chrome extensionon your laptop and use it to check yourtitles to check your descriptions fortypographical errors and also to checkyour keywords because if you spell thewrong keywords it's not you it's notgoing to come up in people's searcheswhen they search for those particularkeywords another tip that i'm going toshare with you is this if you'republishing inamazon.com so you're mostly going to bepublishing to the american marketuse keywords with the american english iknow this may be hard for people whoenglish is not their first languagethere is a difference between thespellings for americans and thespellings for british people sosometimes that can actually hinder yourbook actually coming up it's something ifound out very very recently so ifyou're publishing on amazon.com forexample try to spell your keywords andtry to spell your titles with theamerican spellings so for example wordslike favorcolor those words have differentspellings for both american english andbritish english but if you're publishingif you're listening to this and you'republishing with amazon.com.uk that's theuk uh version and you're publishing topredominantly european countries thatstill spell with the british umspellings then you can act you have toactually spell or write your words withthe british spellings okay so take noteof this is a very important one this issomething that many people do not knowthat you actually know now so be carefulwhen you are publishing your books okaynumber 14 analyze your sales once youstart making sales in your book find outwhich of your books are actuallybringing in the most sales so you wantto focus on those ones because those arethe ones that work so focus on creatingmore like those ones i'm not duplicatingbut creating more maybe in those nichesor finding right the keywords you use tohelp you get the right sales funnycategories you publish on check whatyour titles was like check what yourdescription was like check what thecover looked like because these are someof the things that would point tothe reason why you might have beenmaking sales in those particular booksyou can also test those particular booksas well with ads you can run facebookads or instagram ads or use amazon'smarketing services that's basicallyamazon ads to run ads to thoseparticular books that work chances arethat if they already and selling on themarketplace when you run at it to beable to reach more people like thepeople who have bought your book beforeso analyze yourself so that you knowwhat
